They were two brave! Barroso, a Navy officer, self-absorbed, meticulous, competent, skillful seaman, experienced in the seafaring and combat posts of many ships. Osório, a cavalry officer, extroverted, bold, experienced in the troopers and in the interludes, in violent charges and in fights without barracks.
