Abstract

Dear reader, in volume 2 n.06 the Historical Edition of the Revista Naval de Odontologia in 1955, we were initially faced with an invitation to an integration between the Dentistry and Endocrinology’s specialties. This article was so important that it’s could be published currently. This fact highlights the importance of interdisciplinarity in dental science and the continuous effort for updating knowledge. In this issue, we’re awarded an article by the CMG (CD) Zetho Cardoso Caldas, entitled "Symposium on Aviation Dentistry problems" This Historical Edition shows the effort of dentists to contribute to the aggrandizement of the Navy. We have invited the readers to appreciate this Historical Edition and observe dentists' pride in being part of the Navy.
