Abstract

As we celebrate the 165th anniversary of the Health Corps of Brazilian Navy (HCBN), we release the 75th edition of the Journal of Brazilian Archives of Naval Medicine, that since 1940,
represents our vocation for research and scientific activities. This publication manifests the talent, creativity and investigative spirit of dedicated and competent health professionals that, beyond the diuturnal practice on the assistance, operative, expertise, instruction and research activities, find space for participating on this traditional magazine.
In this edition, the selected themes are of great relevance for the knowledge update, consisting in a useful source of consult and information at the same time that provides an enjoyable reading.
Finally, I thank the effort, enthusiasm and perseverance of all that contributed for the concretion of this job, and greet the HCBN members, military and civilians, for also this important commemorative date.
