The article aims to describe, based on the evidence found in the literature, the nursing care when performing dressings of adult patients undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Interventions. This is a bibliographic, descriptive study with an integrative literature review. The results show that the use of modern techniques and devices, such as hemostatic bracelets and hemostatic pads, contributes to the reduction of complications, such as bleeding and bruising, in addition to improving patient comfort and safety. The analysis of nursing practices also reveals the importance of standardizing protocols and continuous training of professionals to ensure the effectiveness of care and minimization of risk. It concludes that compression techniques and percutaneous dressings are essential after cardiological procedures, but there is no universally superior option. The choice should be personalized, considering each patient’s risks and clinical characteristics. Despite the existing evidence, further studies are needed to determine the ideal approach in different contexts.
