Abstract

This article aims to analyze the manifestations of the insurgent maritime hosts, focusing on a geographic extension and the modus operandi of these actions, as well as the repercussion of these actions in Spanish-American societies. To reach our objective, we will divide the trajectories between interiors and exteriors, covering the Platinum Region and the Atlantic, using the analysis of correspondence exchanged between governments, officers, captains, as well as the relations of entry and exit of ships in the vicinity of the port of Buenos Aires, recorded in the periodical editions of the Gazeta de Buenos Aires and the Gazeta Ministerial de Buenos Aires, during the years 1814 and 1819. In addition to understanding these groups, the exercise will allow us to understand the Atlantic extension of the Spanish-American conflicts.
